Nelson Intelligence Solutions, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Intelligence professional with experience in training and instructing. The successful candidate shall provide site-lead support and full competence in the conduct of the MAGTF Intelligence Specialist Entry Course (MISEC) for the Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS), Marine Detachment (MARDET) Intelligence curriculum development and training. Additional support will include quality assurance of contract instructor performance.


The successful candidate shall serve as an instructor, mentor, and evaluator for students and record students' performance in accordance with client reporting standards - through observation and metric-specific testing. As well as, assist the MARDET Goodfellow Air Force Base Course Chiefs and Course Instructors with the development, instruction, and implementation of all Imagery related blocks of instruction. The Intelligence Instructor shall incorporate the Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs) and Enabled Learning Objectives (ELOs) of the MISEC. In addition, the candidate shall be well versed in MAGTF Operations and support to the Intelligence Cycle.

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in Program of Instruction (POI) development.
  • Expertise in MCTIMS.
  • Expertise in Master Lesson File (MLF) construction and maintenance.
  • Expertise in Curriculum Development, graduate from T3 Schools Curriculum Developers Course.
  • Expertise in Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Operations and Intelligence Cycle.
  • Expertise of Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB), Collections, Targeting, and Structured Analytical Techniques.
  • Expertise of Common Intelligence Workstation (CIW).
  • Expertise in classified research techniques and Intelligence databases data mining. 


  • Develop practical application (PA) and performance evaluations (PE).
  • Support the grading of papers, tests, and other evaluation materials to measure performance.
  • Develop distance/online learning material and manage content.
  • Develop after-action reports and analyze student after-actions to develop better training methodologies.
  • Attend program reviews, training coordination meetings, course content reviews, and other meetings as directed.
  • Develop video lessons.
  • Provide support to the development of simulations and assist in the running of simulations as exercise control. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Intelligence related field experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of intelligence experience within the Department of Defense.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor's Course or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).
  • Minimum of 8 years as an Army MOS 35D, 35F, 350F or Marine Corps MOS 0202, 0203, 0204, 0205, 0231.
  • Previous experience supporting OIF or OIE Intelligence operations in theater.
  • Applicants must have at a minimum a current Secret clearance and be able to maintain for the duration of their employment with the company.
