Description:

Nelson Intelligence Solutions, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Imagery Analysis Instructor. The successful candidate shall provide site-lead support and full competence in the conduct of Imagery Analysis curriculum development for the Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS), Marine Detachment (MARDET) IMINT curriculum development and training.

Scope:

The candidate shall deliver instruction as required for all Imagery Analysis related Marine Corps Detachment (MARDET) Programs of Instruction (POIs). As well as, assist the MARDET Dam Neck Course Chiefs and Course Instructors with the development, instruction, and implementation of all Imagery related blocks of instruction. The successful candidate shall draft documents to support Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS) Operations and Academics with Course Curriculum Review Boards (CCRBs), Training and Readiness (T&R) Manual Working Groups and POI validation, while assisting in the validation of the USMC IMINT training and procedures IAW applicable approved POIs. In addition, the candidate shall be well versed in Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Operations and IMINT support to the Intelligence Cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the MCIS IMINT Subject Matter Expert in all duties as required.
  • Develop practical application (PA) and performance evaluations (PE).
  • Assist the MCIS Operations Officer as required.
  • Develop distance/online learning material and manage content.
  • Develop after-action reports and analyze student after-actions to develop better training methodologies.
  • Provide support to the development of simulations and assist in the running of simulations as exercise control.
  • Attend program reviews, training coordination meetings, course content reviews, and other meetings as directed.
  • Develop video lessons.
  • Support the oversight of course testing databases and student registration functions within MCTIMS.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or certification through a military service school.
  • Background in GEOINT.
  • Functional Subject Matter Expertise in one of the following categories: SAR image science, Collection Management, Writing and Briefing, G3, Geospatial Analysis, Imagery Analysis, or Human Geography.
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience in the Imagery Analyst career field (Active Duty/Civilian/Contractor).
  • Candidates must possess the ability to accurately discern red, green, blue, and yellow colors on a video screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise on Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) collection missions including NTM, Commercial, Theater level and USMC MAGTF level platforms.
  • Expertise of classification, disclosure, and release of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) data.
  • Active military duty experience, including recent Imagery Analyst operational experience at the senior Enlisted (E7-E9) or mid-grade officer (O3) level or higher.
  • Minimum of 8 years as an Army MOS 12Y, 125D, 35G, 350G or Marine Corps MOS 0241.
  • Six years of experience as Imagery subject matter expert (SME) in tactical environmental.
  • Experience in TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) Process.
  • Applicants must have at a minimum a current Secret clearance and be able to maintain for the duration of their employment with the company.
  • Expertise in Master Lesson File (MLF) construction and maintenance.
  • Expertise of National System for GEOINT (NSG) and USMC policy and doctrine regarding GEOINT production in order to ensure GEOINT training is technically accurate, current, and responsive to the mission requirements of the USMC.
  • Expertise on the following areas regarding Imagery Analysis:
    • Phenomenology
    • Electromagnetic Spectrum
    • Imagery Analysis principles of interpretation
    • Data creation, data management
    • Exploitation of all imagery types
    • Denial & Deception
    • GEOINT integration across the Intelligence disciplines
    • Synchronizes data from numerous sources
    • Order of Battle analysis
    • IMINT support to targeting
    • IMINT support to IPB
    • IMINT support to damage assessment
    • Expertise on IMINT dissemination methods
